At iniTECH we are dedicated to helping customers by developing, implementing, and supporting custom process automation and information integration solutions. IniTECH has been serving the Food, Flavor and Fragrance industries for more than 12 years with experience exceeding 150 man-years. We have a unique combination of Engineers, Consultants, and programmers with the in-depth knowledge required to successfully implement your automation and integration challenges.

The iniTECH team has built a broad experience across the Food, Flavor and Fragrance industries, enabling us to deliver solutions with functionality tailored to the way you do business, regulatory support and incorporating best practices to improve productivity and profitability. Our ability to innovate and create engineering solutions for our customers is demonstrated by our continued success and repeat business.

IniTECH customers have the biggest influence on its design, providing personalized solutions that fit the customer’s way of doing things which can include working within your existing infrastructure. We also offer an evaluation free of cost except for travel, during which we talk to shop-floor operators and management, discovering the problems they typically encounter. We also tour the entire plant to see what processes can be enhanced or sped up. At the end of this evaluation, we deliver a presentation outlining our findings, data analysis and improvements. This has cemented iniTECH as the growing leader in plant optimization in the Food, Flavor and Fragrance industry.

Leadership Team

Rich

Rich DiBernardo

CEO

Rich is the CEO of iniTECH and has a passion for optimizing and simplifying F&F (Flavor and Fragrance) manufacturing using lean processes. He started his career working with GE automation during Jack Welsh’s tenure and has worked directly with over one thousand international operations. His scope of expertise includes Co-Founding BatchMetrics and iniTECH, lean manufacturing, master planning, shop floor work-flow, TOC, scheduling optimization, MES, and automation.

 

Rich loves skiing, cycling and bribing his adult children to visit with Italian cooking. Outside of work, he can often be found volunteering at church or buying food at Arthur Ave, the Little Italy of the Bronx.

Alina

Alina Haranczyk

Co-Founder/Board Member

Alina is a Co-Founder of iniTECH and helped grow iniTECH to the company it is today. She has a Masters in mechanical engineering and an MBA. She is the CEO of iniTECH’s sister company iniTECH Industrial. Alina is a former vice president and board member of NAFFS. Alina received an Award from Bank of America/Merrill Lynch for Woman Small Business Leader In 2019. Alina is also a member of WFFC

 

Alina loves spending time with her family, exploring the islands of the Caribbean is a gourmet chef and is passionate about supporting the iniTECH Haitian Outreach

Barbara

Barbara Brzuchacz

CFO

Barbara handles all financial aspects of iniTECH as well as running day-to-day operations. She has a background in business management, and she is also skilled in data analysis and project management.

 

Barbara lives with her husband and three adorable young daughters. She loves playing with her kids and spending time with her family from Poland.

Rob

Robert Corcoran

Project and Continuous Improvement Manager

A Business Operations professional with a passion for continuous improvement and data-driven solutions. Rob started his career working at one of the world’s largest fragrance facilities where he learned best practices for executing lean projects and led initiatives that helped increase site capacity by 20%. He gained international project experience through a 3-month placement in Shanghai as a representative of the North American Fragrance Automation division. These valuable experiences enabled him to transition to a role as a project and lean manufacturing manager for iniTECH where he helps deliver projects that generate 6 to 8 figure savings.

 

Throughout his career, he worked to continuously improve his skills through certificate programs and higher education. In 2019 Rob completed an MBA and throughout 2020 prepared to sit for the Project Management Professional (PMP) exam. By the end of 2022, he intends to become a Lean Six Sigma blackbelt.

 

Outside of work he enjoys cycling, reading, and cooking. If there is one thing he knows, his chili is better than yours!

Tim

Tim Cunningham

Exec VP Design/Build

Operations Executive with extensive business, financial, and engineering experience with Takasago, Bell F&F, and Nestle. A record of achievement in Lean Manufacturing, project management, and continuous improvement. Skilled at building successful teams through effective communications and strong interpersonal relations. Experience in European and South American markets. Chemical Engineering and MBA degrees with Six Sigma Black Belt.

Andy

Andy Forman

Director of Engineering/ Senior Business Analyst

Andy has over 35 years of experience in the F&F Industry, including 10 years at IFF with his final position as the Global Director of Supply Chain Strategy. Andy is a supply chain, manufacturing, quality and operations expert. Andy has a background in chemical engineering and is able to provide consulting services in process evaluation, innovation, development, scale-up and optimization.

 

Andy also owns a small vineyard and enjoys International 505 sailing.

Lee

Lee Beuk

Director of Sales

Lee has over 30 years of experience developing Asian and Latin American markets in the F&F industry. Lee has previous experience working for both Firmenich and Givaudan. He has been involved in business development, marketing, operations, and R&D. He focuses on the commercial aspects of our projects. He is currently the president of NAFFS.

 

Lee speaks seven languages and enjoys traveling and diving with his wife.

Frank

Frank Gonczol

Mechanical Design Team Manager

Frank has over 35 years of experience in engineering design, management, and product engineering. Frank is highly skilled in 3-D graphics and even teaches 3-D design in his spare time. Frank’s expertise is in the design, development and manufacturing of mezzanines, production skids, and process equipment such as spray-dryers.

 

Frank is an avid martial artist and instructor. In his spare time, he loves to spend time with his family.

Nick

Nick Scarpa

Quality Manager

Nick has over 25 years of experience in industrial process engineering, automation and project management. He has a background in mechanical engineering and is skilled in system design and integration, PLC programming and ISO auditing. Nick heads up the design and fabrication of our mobile carts and other custom builds.

 

Nick enjoys competing in biathlons and master’s class track and field. Nick also enjoys cycling.
