Contexa developed its DOPO in response to the need for an efficient machine that can handle the complexity of powders dosing. The DOPO is the first robot that can dose all the powders commonly used in the production of fragrances and flavours.

Powders often change state, forming cohesive blocks, bridges or sticking…

Conventional screw or mill-type systems cannot handle these variations adequately.

Of the 40 most commonly used powders, 38 were successfully tested on the DOPO.

The DOPO allows today the dosing of powders in quantities from 50 mg to 500 grams per ingredient in an average of 45 seconds per powder.
